I've always been amazed how the Lord has "feathered our nest"...
when we were just starting out my sister in law was starting over in the furniture department and gave us a couch, love seat, table that seats six, microwave and some decor.
We took my bedroom furniture, two dressers, two night stands, my bed (guest room), Austin's night stand (guest room) and for starting off I felt super proud of what we had acquired by way of the Lord's blessings!
Then He continued to feather our nest, from my mom coming to visit and finding great Salvation army deals (coffee table!), to a tv stand for my birthday, a sweet friend surprising me with SIX panels of curtains for our living room, all the way down to my "curbies" (freebies off the curb) ...which includes two small tables, a large sturdy wood shelf, three outdoor welcome mats (one being from pier 1), Christmas tree, sofa table, headboard...
you name it and it's been provided. I've also enjoyed yardsale sites and people willing to negotiate which scored me a super cute ladder shelf for $20 and a fire pit!
Point being..
with baby on the way the Lord has continued pouring out his blessings!
Like I had mentioned in another post a friend has given us everything from a bumbo to a crib and everything in between (changing mat, boppy etc etc!).
This weekend more can be added to this list,
we got this super cute, clean swing for baby Quinn. It turns two directions and has about 5 different sounds and many more settings. Blondie can't figure out why she hears crickets! ;)

Got another boppy, for free. Easily covered in a different design if we want!
and a bag of clothes, some are gender neutral and some are boys but regardless, a free bag of clothes couldn't be passed up! I paid a $1/each for a few sleepers and I think they're so adorable, also a swaddle!

It never ceases to amaze me just how the Lord provides,
we give all the honor and praise to Him!
we give all the honor and praise to Him!

He is good. We will continue to give Him all the glory.
